Vinterior Finishes, a division of VFM Construction Inc., is looking for experienced painters to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, institutional, and ICI construction projects, including schools, public facilities, offices, and other professional job sites.
We are looking for reliable, skilled painters who take pride in clean, professional work and can work independently or as part of a crew.
Duties
- Interior and exterior painting on commercial and institutional projects
- Prepare surfaces including sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and masking
- Apply paint using sprayers, rollers, and brushes
- Work with different coatings, primers, finishes, and materials
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Protect floors, furniture, equipment, and finished surfaces
- Follow site safety rules and company procedures
- Complete work professionally and on schedule
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, site staff, and other trades
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience
- Must be experienced with paint sprayers, rollers, and brush painting
- Commercial, institutional, or ICI painting experience is preferred
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
- Must be able to work on active construction sites
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have basic hand tools and painting tools
- Must be able to lift materials, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check, as many projects are schools, public facilities, and similar sites
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, and other safety certifications are considered an asset
Pay: $24.50-$38.75 per hour
