We are looking for a new team member to join our drafting team. This role is for a hands-on designer who is comfortable visiting sites to complete measurements and producing accurate existing-condition (“as-built”) drawings for permit and drafting purposes.
Job Responsibilities
- Visit project sites to measure existing residential/commercial spaces
- Independently complete site measurements for floor plans and elevations
- Prepare as-built/existing-condition drawings (floor plans & elevations) based on site measurements
- Coordinate and communicate with clients on-site in a professional manner
- Coordinate measurement schedules with internal team members
- Clarify and reconcile measurements taken previously by team members when needed
- Complete drawings and measurement documentation in a timely manner
- Provide assistance with basic office administrative tasks as required
- May occasionally work outside regular weekday hours when required (no weekends)
Pre-requisites:
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license in good standing; able to drive to job sites
- Basic architectural drafting/design skills and knowledge
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Able to carry measurement equipment on-site (approximately 20 lbs)
- College/University education in Architectural Design/Technology (preferred)

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
