What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Subcontract Co-Ordinator. As a Subcontract Co-Ordinator on the procurement team, you are responsible for ensuring all parts requiring metal finishing for a job are sent to the correct vendor while maintaining cost effectiveness and on time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor incoming and outgoing parts
· Create POs and compile relevant details to be sent to our metal finishing partners
· Work with shipping department to arrange transportation
· Inspect incoming orders to ensure customer quality standard has been met
· Management of Open POs
· Management of workload coming from production teams
· Work with metal finishing partners to ensure product is received within the agreed upon time
· Manage Subcontract relationships
· Obtain quotes from metal finishing partners
Preferred Requirements:
· Intermediate to Advance knowledge of office 365 products
· Speak, read and write English
· Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
· Ability to problem solve
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
