Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving various facilities and equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on facilities and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Install fixtures, appliances, or other hardware as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after projects
- Assist with remodeling or renovation projects when required
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve diverse repair issues efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with HVAC systems, tile work, or appliance repair
