In this role, you will plan, design, procure, install, configure, maintain, and modernize electronic videoconferencing systems and the CATV network, delivering reliable, high-performing solutions that meet the organization's evolving needs. You will also lead projects and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives.
Drawing on your technical expertise, you will provide strategic advice, develop technical documentation, and represent the organization with internal and external stakeholders. Your contributions will be instrumental in continuously improving collaboration services and supporting the success of technology projects.

Education
ED1: A secondary school diploma AND Completion of an acceptable* training program in electronics technology or the employer-approved alternative**
- Normally, an acceptable training program in electronics technology involves the completion of two to three years of post-secondary study in this subject.

Experience
EX1: Experience in integrating networked audio, video systems.
EX2: Experience diagnosing and resolving complex***, non-routine technical problems independently.
EX3: Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting advanced audiovisual and videoconferencing systems including simultaneous interpretation.
EX4: Experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms, Webex and zoom platforms in enterprise environments.
EX5: Experience with radio frequency distribution systems, including coaxial distribution networks, signal flow, frequency allocation and signal amplification.

Knowledge
K1: Knowledge of digital video compression standards including MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 (H.264) encoding/decoding, transport streams, multiplexing, and integration within enterprise audiovisual and broadcast environments.
K2: Knowledge of AV & Multimedia Systems.
K3: Knowledge of IP Networking (switches, routers, LAN)
K4: Knowledge of Digital Audio Networking (e.g., Dante)
K5: Knowledge of Secure Communications Standards
Abilities
