We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure personalized service.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation protocols.
- Schedule appointments efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice flow.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Effective communication skills to understand client needs and explain treatment procedures clearly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion with sensitive client information.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods comfortably.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program is required; state licensure or certification must be maintained as per local regulations.
