What We’re Looking For
We are looking for driven and dedicated Field Survey Technicians to conduct field assessments in cities. You will use new technologies to collect data on the existing status and performance of underground infrastructure such as manholes and underground pipes. Data is collected from the street and does NOT require manhole or confined space entry. Once the data is collected, you will utilize ArcGIS Maps (Field Maps) and cloud hosted sites to allow customer cities access to their reports.
Duties
- Conduct field assessments to gather data for city utilities using state-of-the-art technology including the SL-RAT and 3D Manhole Virtualizations
- Work with other service crew members
- Transport equipment to different locations
- Drive to remote job locations (company vehicle provided)
- Support new project mobilizations across Ontario municipalities
- Frequent travel across Ontario, including overnight stays, is required
Required Skills
- High school diploma
- Valid G Class driver's license with a Clean Driver's Abstract
- Comfort working independently and outdoors in variable weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Basic computer/tablet proficiency
- Ability to meet physical demands of position
- Experience with GIS platforms (such as ArcGIS) and/or field survey work is considered an asset
Pay & Benefits: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime is compensated in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act.

- Per diem paid for all travel requiring overnight stays
- All required PPE provided (safety boots are the responsibility of the employee)
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
