As we continue to grow, we are looking for a seasoned Senior International Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our global operations team.
Position Overview
The Senior International Logistics Coordinator will own complex international shipments from origin to final delivery, acting as a key point of reference within the operations team. Beyond managing their own files, this person will help set the operational standard, support colleagues on difficult shipments, and bring structure and stability to a fast-moving environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who takes full ownership, exercises sound judgment under pressure, and naturally elevates the people and processes around them.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee complex international air, ocean, and ground shipments end to end
- Handle advanced import/export documentation, customs, and compliance requirements
- Serve as a senior point of contact for carriers, agents, warehouses, and key clients
- Anticipate and resolve operational issues before they escalate
- Support and guide colleagues on challenging files, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Help refine and standardize internal processes and shipment workflows
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of shipment data across internal systems
- Lead pricing, routing, and operational follow-up on high-priority accounts
- Set the tone for professionalism, accountability, and client service within the team
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in international logistics or freight forwarding
- Deep understanding of import/export processes, customs, and documentation
- Proven ability to manage complex files independently and under pressure
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- A natural problem-solver others turn to for guidance
- Experience with CargoWise or TMS platforms strongly preferred
- Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred
