In this role, you will design and deliver engaging programming tailored to elementary-aged children, fostering curiosity, physical development, and a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and teach high-quality, age-appropriate lessons in your area of specialty (Music, Gym, or STEM) aligned with elementary school curriculum guidelines.
Student Engagement: Create an active, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that motivates elementary students of varying skill levels.
Collaboration: Partner with core classroom teachers and school leadership to enrich the overall student experience.
Assessment: Monitor and communicate student progress, participation, and skill development effectively.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience teaching or leading elementary-aged children in an educational, athletic, or recreational setting.
Expertise: Strong background, training, or deep knowledge in Music, Physical Education, or STEM concepts.
Skills: Strong elementary classroom management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Credentials: Relevant degree or certification in Education or your specialty field is highly preferred; must be able to clear a vulnerable sector check.
