Position Summary
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery.
- Set up equipment and make basic adjustments as required.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with packaging and other production tasks when needed.
- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
