We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting daily farm operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the health and productivity of crops and livestock. Duties
- Assist with planting, harvesting, and crop maintenance using hand tools and power tools
- Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on irrigation systems, farm machinery, and equipment
- Support livestock care including feeding, cleaning, and health monitoring
- Conduct general farm upkeep such as fencing, building repairs, and landscape management
- Use basic math skills for measurements, inventory tracking, and record keeping
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies or harvested products
- Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture, irrigation systems, or farm maintenance is preferred but not required
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic maintenance tasks
- Strong physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and inventory management
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to pass any required safety training or certifications related to farm operations
