The Britannia Yacht Club is looking for a motivated and personable individual for our Food and Beverage Services to start immediately.
Description: Your leadership and vision will be a driving force for ensuring the high standards of exceptional member and guest experiences. You lead by example in maintaining our values and policies and seek out opportunities to elevate and push the bar higher for member and guest satisfaction. You will lead from the front of house, being visible on the floor, and interacting with all members and guests.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the General Manager, assisting in providing leadership, support, development and direction of the Food and Beverage Team, through ongoing training, monitoring and evaluation of the service staff
- Oversees staffing and ensures scheduling is appropriate to fill requirements
- Assists the Events Manager in executing Private and Member events to specifications
- Regular communication with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and expectations are met
- Participation in Food and Beverage Management meetings to ensure consistent communication
Qualifications: Minimum 5 years Food & Beverage experience in a supervisory or managerial role; Prior Experience in a Private Members Club and asset; Basic Computer skills; Familiarity with Jonas System is considered an asset; Wine and beverage knowledge an asset; Ability to work well under pressure, maintaining composure, objectivity and diplomacy at all times; A hands-on individual who can work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; A Strong Passion for Success.
