We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to take ownership of the early stages of major renovation projects. This role is a blend of sales leadership, relationship management, and project development within a highly collaborative, in-house design-build environment.
While Amsted provides strong marketing support and a steady flow of inbound opportunities, this is not a passive sales role. Success comes from initiative—building relationships, following up consistently, networking within the community, and actively generating new opportunities.
The ideal candidate is polished, driven, and confident guiding clients through high-value decisions. You know how to establish trust quickly, maintain momentum, and proactively move opportunities forward while delivering a professional, client-focused experience.
In this role, you will partner closely with our designers, estimators, selections coordinators, and project managers to guide clients from initial consultation through design development and into construction.
What You’ll Do
You will serve as the first point of contact for homeowners considering a renovation, leading them through Amsted’s structured sales and project development process. From the first conversation, your focus will be on understanding client goals, qualifying opportunities, and positioning projects for success.
Through in-home consultations, you will guide discussions around vision, scope, and budget, confidently navigating investment conversations and helping clients make informed decisions. You will be responsible for moving projects through key milestones, including the Project Development Agreement, Construction Retainer, and Construction Agreement.
A critical part of this role is building and maintaining a strong, consistent pipeline. This includes leveraging company-provided leads while also generating your own through proactive follow-up, referral development, and community engagement. Your presence in the Brockville and St. Lawrence region will directly contribute to new business growth and brand visibility.
You will work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from concept to construction, maintaining accountability, momentum, and clear communication throughout. Ultimately, your success will be measured not just by closed projects, but by the quality of the client experience and the relationships you build along the way.

- Proven sales experience, with a track record of success in business development, pipeline generation, and closing in a performance-driven, relationship-focused role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly establish trust
- Confidence discussing budgets, investments, and complex, high-value decisions
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a disciplined approach to pipeline management, follow-up, and networking
- A genuine connection to the Brockville and surrounding communities, with the ability to build relationships locally and actively generate opportunities through community involvement and visibility, and relationship-building that generates new opportunities.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales targets or revenue goals in a performance-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities through referrals, community engagement, and personal initiative
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across internal teams while maintaining momentum
- Professional, polished, and confident in all client-facing interactions
- Experience in residential construction, renovations, real estate, architecture, or design-build is considered a strong asset
