The Opportunity: TOSOT Supplies Inc. is a leader in Ductless, Heat Pump, and VRF Air Conditioning solutions. We are looking for a Technical Manager for East Canada to be the "Professor" of our technology. We need an expert in Inverter-driven Air Conditioning. Your goal is to train licensed HVAC contractors on how to install and troubleshoot our specific equipment perfectly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AC Training: Design and deliver technical training for HVAC contractors. You will teach proper installation of ductless splits, heat pumps, and VRF piping.
- Field Support (Tier 3): Act as the final escalation point for technical issues. You will help contractors troubleshoot AC error codes, communication failures, and inverter board issues (via video or site visits).
- Warranty Issue: review the warranty submits and decision making
- Technical Document Review: including the submittals, user manual, extended rating, service manual, etc.
- Product Quality: Analyze warranty claims for our AC units to identify trends (e.g., compressor failures vs. installation errors) and report back to the factory.
Skills & Requirements:
- HVAC Experience: 5-10 years of experience specifically with Air Conditioning, Ductless Splits, and Heat Pumps (Residential or Commercial).
- Licensing: Must hold valid licenses
- Bilingualism: English is required for the East Canada territory. French will be a plus.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel (approx. 20-30%) for site visits and training sessions.
