Class 1 Driver – Highway & Bulk Hauling
Chemco – Nisku, AB
Chemco is seeking experienced, safety-focused Class 1 Drivers for full-time, year-round hauling operations. This role includes highway and bulk hauling work to industrial and energy project sites across Alberta using well-maintained tractor-trailer equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 highway tractors with sleeper cabs
- Haul bulk and general materials to project sites
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional equipment standards
- Follow all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel
Scheduling Note:
Drivers are expected to overnight in truck sleepers as required by shift length. Extended multi-week time away is not required. Shift schedules are structured to allow flexibility while remaining compliant with Hours-of-Service regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Super B experience considered an asset
- Experience with bulk or industrial hauling is considered an asset
- Solid understanding of Federal Hours of Service
- Knowledge of load securement rules and regulations
- Ability to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test
- Strong safety awareness and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
