Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper and Dishwasher to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping and ingredient organization
- Support the kitchen staff in food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Help with trash disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used appropriately
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a hygienic environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and hospitality operations
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
