"Mushroom Farm Worker" is a vital role at Maritime Gourmet where you will contribute to our mission by supporting the daily operations of our mushroom cultivation facilities. This position offers opportunity to be part of our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and operation of farm equipment and machinery.
- Harvesting mushrooms, Packaging mushrooms and maintaining crops
- Pressure washing and cleaning grow rooms
- Mixing, bagging and packing soil
- Handle heavy lifting and operate heavy machinery safely.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Support team members in daily farm activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture, farm machinery, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to safety procedures
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic indoor farming environment.
Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
