Job Description:
Lexus Cleaning Services Inc. is looking for an experienced and dedicated Cleaning Supervisor/Manager to ensure the efficient use of cleaning technicians and oversee the completion of the scope of work for various commercial facilities. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in cleaning management and will be fluent in both spoken and written English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision & Management:
Lead and manage a team of cleaning technicians, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed according to the client's specified standards. Provide support and performance feedback to technicians.
- Scheduling & Resource Allocation:
Develop and manage cleaning schedules, efficiently allocating resources to ensure all areas are covered and the scope of work is fully addressed.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections to verify that cleaning tasks meet the client's specified standards and that all safety protocols are followed. Address any issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
Provide continuous training and guidance to cleaning technicians to improve their skills, focusing on proper cleaning techniques, safety, and operational efficiency.
Act as the primary point of contact for facility managers or clients, ensuring that any concerns are addressed promptly and that the scope of work is being met according to expectations.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, technician performance, inventory, and any incidents or issues that arise during service delivery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including the use of PPE and proper cleaning chemicals.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in cleaning management or a supervisory role in the cleaning industry.
- Fluency in English: Must be fluent in both spoken and written English to ensure clear communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage cleaning technicians to meet client expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations quickly and implement effective solutions to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety: Understanding of health and safety regulations and cleaning protocols.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently, ensuring the scope of work is completed on time.
- Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with sustainable or eco-friendly cleaning practices.
- Custodial Supervisor Certification.
