Castletech Spray Foam Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Lead Spray Foam Installer to join our team. This position involves the installation of 2lb spray polyurethane foam insulation on residential construction projects throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.
As a Lead Installer, you will be responsible for operating the spray foam rig, overseeing job site operations, directing labourers and helpers, ensuring compliance with CAN/ULC-S705.2 standards, and maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety.
Please Note: A valid 2lb Spray Polyurethane Foam Installer Licence/Certification is a mandatory requirement for this position. Applicants who do not possess this certification will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Install 2lb spray polyurethane foam insulation in accordance with CAN/ULC-S705.2 standards.
- Operate and maintain spray foam equipment safely and efficiently.
- Lead and supervise labourers and helpers on the job site.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and building code requirements.
- Prepare job sites, mask work areas, and ensure proper ventilation procedures are followed.
- Monitor foam quality, thickness, adhesion, and coverage throughout the installation process.
- Complete daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and job documentation ie. Daily Work Record (DWR).
- Coordinate with site supervisors, builders, and company management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot equipment and installation issues as they arise.
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule and to the highest standard.
Requirements
- Valid 2 lb Spray Polyurethane Foam Installer Licence/Certification (Caliber or equivalent recognized certification body) – Mandatory. Applicant must provide proof of current certification and be in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of residential spray foam installation experience.
- Experience leading a crew or supervising labourers is considered a strong asset.
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate.
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Thorough understanding of CAN/ULC-S705.2 installation requirements and industry best practices.
- Experience operating spray foam proportioners, spray guns, generators, compressors, and related equipment.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the job site.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and elevated areas.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.

- Wage will be reviewed following a successful 3-month performance review and adjusted based on performance, experience, leadership, and overall contribution.

Safety Requirements

- Safe operation and maintenance of spray foam equipment.
- Reporting hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions immediately.
- Participation in all required safety meetings and training.
