School Division is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker
Assistant to join our team at H.M.A.P and Vauxhall High School. This shared position
plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for
students, staff, and visitors.
Position Details: This is a permanent
part-time position, working from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (shared between both
schools).
Key Responsibilities: The successful
candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and
safety of the school. This includes daily cleaning duties such as sweeping,
mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate
is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Previous
custodial or maintenance experience is considered an asset but is not required.
A strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a commitment to
safety are essential.
The
position commences July 2, 2026.
