We deliver high-quality landscaping, lawn care, and property maintenance services across the Kootenays. Our team takes pride in reliability, quality, and exceeding client expectations year-round.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Landscape Lead to manage daily operations on-site, lead a crew, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role with year-round responsibilities across landscaping construction, lawn care, and winter operations.Year-Round Role Breakdown
- Spring/Summer/Fall: Parking lot cleanups, spring landscape cleanups, Landscape construction, irrigation installations,
- Winter: Snow removal operations, equipment operation, site management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a landscaping crew on-site
- Execute landscape projects (irrigation, sod, planting, grading, rock work, small retaining walls, etc.)
- Operate and maintain equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, trucks, trailers)
- Oversee job quality, timelines, and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with clients and management
- Train and support team members
- Assist with snow removal operations in winter months
Qualifications
- 2+ years of landscaping experience (leadership preferred)
- Strong knowledge of landscape installation and property maintenance
- Experience operating equipment (asset)
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum; Code 20 heavy trailer endorsement preferred)
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors year-round
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Takes pride in quality workmanship and team success
