Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in senior care facilities, and home care. Your expertise and skills will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and recovery of residents in client sites.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of residents' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Conduct medication reconcillation, nursing assessments and attend care conferrences as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health record systems such as Pointclickcare (PCC)
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in LTC setting
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Experience in senior care is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Pointclickcare(PCC)
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
