Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and control panels.
- Work with low voltage systems such as security alarms and communication lines.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues through systematic testing and inspection; implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Valid journeyman/woman electrician license or certification recognized by local authorities.
- Proven experience working as an commercial electrician
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems.
- Experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to electrical work and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Pay: $39.50-$45.00 per hour
