Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role combines food preparation and customer service to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry standards, excellent serving skills, and a positive attitude. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times
- Operate the cash register, process customer orders accurately, and handle payments efficiently
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area
- Restock supplies as needed and ensure all food preparation areas meet safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is a plus but not required
