Join JCL Shotcrete’s team as a skilled Shotcrete Nozzleman working on high-rise building projects across the GTA. The role involves applying shotcrete (sprayed concrete) for structural walls and columns in major construction developments. We seek a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate shotcrete equipment to spray concrete on high-rise structural elements in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with the shotcrete crew and site supervisors to ensure efficient application and proper curing of placed shotcrete.
Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to keep pumps, hoses, and nozzles in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
Required Qualifications:
ACI Certified Shotcrete Nozzleman – Certification is required for this position
Proven experience with wet-mix shotcrete application on structural or architectural concrete projects. High-rise construction experience is an asset.
Familiarity with proper shotcrete equipment setup and pump operation; ability to adjust mix and nozzle techniques for quality results
Excellent understanding of job site safety practices and ability to work at various construction sites across the GTA.
Willingness to work overtime hours as needed (overtime compensated according to the union’s collective agreement).
