Utility Arborist
3 years minimum utility production experience
Proficient in pruning and removals of trees of all sizes and types
Professional and safety oriented, leadership and team skills required
Preferred candidate will have the following qualifications-
- ISA Arborist certified
- 3 years climbing experience with indepth knowledge of rigging, Ddrt / SRT, Crane work
- Chainsaw Safety
- Experience using Altec / Versalift booms
- Experience using wood chippers, stump grinders
- Experience using gas powered equipment
- Experience using pruners, sheers and other arborist equipment
- Confident, safe, and efficient in all aspects of tree removal and pruning operations including; working in proximity to hydro and utilizing cranes and aerial lifts where required.
Job Duties-
- Provide Arboriculture services and inspections to client properties
- Provide pruning and removal of trees up to electrical limits of approach
- Responsible for climbing, pruning and removing trees as per work specifications
- Capable of daily maintenance of truck, chipper and trimming equipment
- Management of customer service, job site, and crew operation
- General labour activities
Education/Assets/Other-
- Class 3 Drivers license
- Working knowledge of modern arboriculture climbing & rigging techniques.
- Electrical safety and awareness and understanding
- Chainsaw sharpening and maintenance, wood chipper and stump grinder daily maintenance
- ISA certifications (Tree Worker, Arborist)
Wage based on experience
