Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items, enhancing guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met through proper food preparation and cleanliness practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly.
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
