Job Overview
- The Restaurant Crew Member ensures customers have a positive dining experience by taking orders, preparing food, serving guests, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Prepare food and beverages according to company recipes and food safety standards.
- Assemble and package orders for dine-in, takeout, and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen, workstations, and restrooms.
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service or restaurant experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
