Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive retail management experience, and excellent communication abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily store activities, manage a team, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for maintaining sales performance, managing staff, and implementing effective merchandising and marketing strategies to meet company goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and product placement to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with integrity
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to staff for continuous improvement
- Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets through effective team management and customer engagement
- Maintain excellent communication with staff, vendors, and customers to foster a positive shopping environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, and legal regulations
Experience
- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management
- Strong background in merchandising, pricing, and sales management
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in recruiting, training & development, and team supervision
- Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and phone etiquette
- Proficiency with POS systems, purchasing procedures, marketing strategies, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in budgeting, sales management, cash handling, and retail operations is highly desirable

Pay: $25.00-$27.50 per hour
