We are looking for Hydraulic Hose Technicians. Experience is an asset but not required.
We are hiring for a fast-paced hydraulic hose and fittings position involving hose assembly, parts handling, measuring, inventory work, and warehouse duties.
This is a physically active industrial role requiring speed, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to safely perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the shift.
ESSENTIAL DAILY JOB DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be available to work the required scheduled hours. Flexible scheduling is not available for this position
- Consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability are essential requirements of the position
- Repeated lifting and carrying of hoses, fittings, and materials up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and standing
- Accurate measuring in millimetres
- Frequent metric ↔ imperial conversions using a calculator
- Reading and identifying small measurements, thread sizes, thread pitch gauges, labels, part numbers, and hydraulic fitting details
- Fast-paced production and warehouse work requiring consistent accuracy and attention to detail
- Repetitive assembly work using hands, tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment
- Ability to maintain speed and accuracy while multitasking in a busy industrial environment
- Ability to drive a forklift (training is provided)
- Computer proficiency is required for order entry, order lookup, inventory accuracy, and shop software use.
- Cellular phones are not permitted in designated shop and safety sensitive work areas
IMPORTANT
This is not a light-duty, sedentary, or slow-paced position. The listed duties are essential daily job functions, not occasional tasks.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING
Practical job related testing will be conducted during the interview process to verify qualifications and ability to perform the essential duties of the position.
Work Environment
Warehouse envrionment with concrete floors, moderate to loud noise levels at times, and rubber odours generated during hose cutting operations.
CSA-approved safety footwear is required (employee supplied)
CSA-approved safety eyewear required in shop and warehouse areas. Standard safety eyewear is provided. Personal prescription safety glasses are the employees responsibility
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and two 15 minute unpaid breaks.
Wages
Wages start between $18 and $21 and are adjusted after the probationary period

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
