Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

The Role
The Depot Admin supports the day-to-day operation of our container depot by coordinating gate activity, maintaining accurate container and equipment records, assisting drivers and yard personnel, and ensuring operational documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
This is a hands-on operational support role that includes both office-based administrative work and some outdoor responsibilities within the depot. You will work closely with Depot Operators, drivers, dispatch, and terminal leadership to help keep containers, equipment, and information moving efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate inbound and outbound gate activity.
- Process gate and container transactions accurately within depot operating systems.
- Maintain accurate container inventory, location, status, and equipment records.
- Verify container numbers, condition, status, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct outdoor container inspections to identify visible damage, deficiencies, or operational concerns.
- Assist drivers, contractors, and operational employees with depot processes and information.
- Maintain accurate operational records and system updates.
- Support daily reporting and documentation requirements.
- Communicate container discrepancies, damages, and operational concerns to leadership.
- Coordinate information between yard operations and office functions.
- Support yard operations during periods of increased activity.
- Assist with warehouse and container repair activities as required.
- Operate forklifts or other yard equipment when trained and certified.
- Follow OCTS safety procedures and operational standards at all times.
- Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, terminal operations, inventory control, administration, or operational coordination is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced transportation environment.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Experience using operational software or inventory systems is preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
- Forklift or other operating-equipment certification is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving abstract.

- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 8 paid hours per day
- 40 hours per week
Compensation
$22.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience.
