Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. (Al-Pac) is seeking a Coordinator, Trades Services - Asia to work out of our St. Albert location. The successful candidate will be responsible for for engaging internal stakeholders, customers, and agents to develop and sustain mutually beneficial relationships and support the sales team and agents to meet or exceed the sales strategy and business goals. The position is responsible for processing all documentation for Al-Pac’s export sales, while also coordinating and communicating the shipment information to our customers/agents. Role Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and agents to provide the highest quality of customer support.
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer quality and shipping requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and Logistics to monitor supply chain and inventory levels to maintain an adequate supply of pulp in our warehouses.
- Create and provide timely reports and documentation to inform customers and stakeholders (internal and external).
- Inform logistics on anticipated customer requirements to meet their needs.
- Create and review sales order contracts and purchase orders.
- Create sales orders in SAP and ensure they are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Partner with Logistics to investigate and recommend alternative supply chain opportunities to reduce risk and costs and improve reliability.
- Work with other business units, agents, and associations to communicate and leverage our preferred brand value.
Role Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, economics, supply chain, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues within SAP SD and related internal programs.
- 2+ years’ experience in a professional B2B customer interfacing role (i.e.. Sales or Procurement) or Transportation, Sales Coordination, Supply Chain Management
- Experience working with internal and external auditors is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment, able to support and gain support cross functionally
