Chee in a Tree Childcare Inc., is seeking an Early Childhood Educator with Infant Toddler Certification, for employment at their daycare centres at 6821 Fremlin Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6P 3W3 and 938 West 52 nd Avenue, Vancouver BC,
V6P 1H3
Primary duties will be:
- engaging children in activities like story time and crafts
- preparing food for lunch and snacks
- assisting the children with meals, activities, and personal hygiene where necessary
- helping with program planning
-helping with classroom sanitization and keeping the class in order
-communication with parents, children, other educators, and management
Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school and an early childhood education infant toddler program.
- Licencing: must be certified by the ECE Registry
-First Aid certificate
-Criminal record check
-Good health/character/temperament to work with children
- Experience: At least 12 months experience in childcare.
- Written and oral ability to communicate in English is required.
- Starting salary: $20 ( + $6 wage enhancement)
- Hours: 30-40 hours per week
- Starting date: as soon as possible
