CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVER
Position Summary:
John Eichel Trucking Ltd is a Manitoba-based transportation company. We are seeking responsible experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team as truck drivers and open deck hauling. We offer full time, year-round employment, with regular time-off. Drivers will work with well-maintained equipment and in a great work environment.
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Possess a valid Class 1 License with at least 1 year of experience on the road.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Flat deck/deck experience required.
- Experience driving in all types of weather conditions.
- Experience and knowledge of “Hours of Service” regulations an asset.
- Experience with paperwork such as inspection books and logbooks (pre and post trip)
(Electronic Log) an asset.
- Clear communication and the ability to obtain and retain learning opportunities.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift (up to 50 pounds).
- Able to assist with loading and unloading of heavy equipment when required.
