Ponds for People Leisurescapes is a Waterloo based swimming pool and hot tub company.
We are seeking a individual to join our team as a Pool and Hot Tub Maintenance Technician.
A successful candidate will be resourceful and have a interest in learning and developing their skills as a Technician.
Duties
- Pool and hot tub cleaning and chemical maintenance
- Opening and closing Pools
- Safety cover installations
- Minor repairs and maintenance of pool and hot tub equipment
- Completing service documentation
- Maintaining inventory and supply levels
- Maintaining tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Prior Pool or Hot Tub maintenance or service experience is an asset
- Prior plumbing, mechanical, or electrical knowledge is an asset
- Basic hand and power tool knowledge is an asset
- Must have good communication and customer service skills and be able to professionally represent the company in the field.
- Must by reliable, trustworthy, and organized.
- Must be physically fit and able to complete physical work in all weather conditions
- Must possess a valid minimum G class drivers license and be insurable on the company's fleet policy.
This is a seasonal position running to October 16th.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 10 weeks
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Experience:
- Pool or Hot Tub Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Pool or Hot Tub Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Pool Closings: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Minimum Class G2 Drivers License (required)
