Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls
- Liaising with customers, prescribers and various stakeholders
- Creating patient profiles in Kroll
- Entering and processing compound orders in Kroll
- Accurately prioritizing and communicating with other departments
- Filling prescriptions
- Setting up orders for delivery
- Any other appropriate pharmacy assistant or administrative duties
Our ideal candidate will:
- Strong interest in veterinary medicine and a genuine love for animals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Veterinary Medical Terminology is an asset.
- A willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is a plus, but not required.
- Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Office Assistant (VOA) program certificate is an asset
