Mystic Rains Contracting is growing, and we’re looking for skilled and motivated carpenters to join our crew.
We handle a variety of residential and light commercial projects, from framing and renovations to custom interiors and finishing touches. If you take pride in precision, quality craftsmanship, and working as part of a solid, professional team we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry tasks including framing, rough-ins, and structure work
- Install trim, baseboards, casing, crown molding, and finish-grade materials
- Hang doors, install windows, cabinetry, hardware, and fixtures
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
- Lift heavy materials as necessary during the construction process.
- Read and interpret work orders
- Work independently and with a team to complete jobs on schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with team leads and clients as needed
- Assist with job site prep, layout, and final punch lists
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry tasks.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in general carpentry or construction
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in a variety of conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
