Mercato di Luigi (Chinatown location - 213 E Georgia) is seeking a Cook to join the team! Our location features an Italian market, deli, and café by day, transforming into a full-service restaurant by night (Cantina di Luigi, inspired by our very own Ask for Luigi), celebrating the essence of Italian cuisine with a focus on simplicity and fresh local ingredients.
Please note, evening and weekend availability required.
You have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Experience with Italian cuisine is an asset
- A positive attitude and team-oriented outlook
- A desire to learn
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while multi-tasking and maintaining high food standards
- An understanding of First In – First Out procedure and pride in maintaining an organized work environment
