Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massages to clients, helping them relax and alleviate muscle tension. Your expertise and caring nature will contribute to the overall well-being of our clients.
Duties:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages
- Assess clients' needs and customize massage treatments accordingly
- Maintain client records and document treatment plans
- Communicate with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction during the massage session
- Provide guidance on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques for clients to practice at home
- Adhere to all sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care for clients
Requirements:
- registered with the CMTO
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
