Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Full-Time Live-In Nanny to provide attentive childcare and household support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing, teaching, and caring for children while maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a family committed to the well-being and development of their children, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for both the children and the caregiver.
Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, including engaging in age-appropriate activities and educational play
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children’s dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning up after children, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
- Support children's learning through teaching activities, reading, and developmental exercises
- Assist with transportation to activities or appointments as needed
- Care for children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities and care routines accordingly
- Foster a safe, loving, and stimulating environment that promotes growth and independence
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children, including infants or toddlers preferred. Min 3yr experience in a professional position.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals and perform meal preparation tasks
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and reliability
- Ability to perform light cleaning duties related to childcare responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively
- Flexibility to work full-time hours in a live-in capacity; must be comfortable residing in the family home
- Valid background check clearance and ability to pass any necessary screening requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to travel with the family as necessary; visa & passport requirement.
- A valid driver’s license & clean driving record would be an asset.
Pay: $17.98-$34.48 per hour
