Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures including exams, restorations, endodontics, cosmetic and orthodontic treatments
- Take dental radiographs using sensor technology
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as ABELDENT
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently, acting as a dental receptionist when needed
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Certified Dental Assistant with active certification required
- Proficiency with dental software ABELDENT is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience with CAD systems for digital impressions or radiography is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
