We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Technician and Prepper to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using specialized tools and techniques
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and ensuring surfaces are smooth and ready for finishing touches
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively to complete repair tasks efficiently
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine necessary repairs and document work performed for quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair jobs, meet deadlines, and uphold safety standards throughout the repair process
- Assist with vehicle detailing and final inspections before returning vehicles to customers or lot storage
Requirements
- Previous experience in dealership auto body repair or automotive collision centers is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques required for automotive repair tasks
- Ability to perform automotive prep work including sanding, masking, priming, and surface finishing
- Mechanic experience or automotive repair background is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
