Position Overview
The Integrity Group of Companies consists of five different business units, with the primary areas of focus including the construction of post frame buildings across Western Canada, supplying framing material packages to homebuilders in Calgary and area, as well as manufacturing.
The responsibilities of the Precaster include producing precast columns in a controlled indoor environment and inspecting the finished products for defects.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assemble concrete forms
- Mix concrete to formula and pour into forms
- Stack and package for transport
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure Integrity’s standards are met
- Operate forklift and skid steer to transport raw and finished materials
- Complete inventory counts
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop
- Adhere to health & safety policies
- Report accidents, near misses, injuries, and illnesses
Skills/Qualifications
- Construction / concrete labourer experience an asset
- Self-motivating and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated dedication and reliability
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Technology & Equipment
- Operate hand tools, such as a hammer and measuring tape
- Forklift and skid steer
