Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our First Aid/CPR and Safety training company. The Operations Manager will ensure that training courses are delivered efficiently, instructors are properly scheduled and supported, certifications are processed accurately, and clients receive exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills to maintain high-quality training standards while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the training business.
- Coordinate and schedule First Aid, CPR, AED, and workplace safety courses.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and support instructors and administrative staff.
- Ensure all training programs comply with provincial and national certification standards.
- Order and track training equipment, classroom supplies, and inventory.
- Process course registrations, certifications, and training records accurately.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, schools, community organizations, and individual learners.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Develop staff schedules and manage instructor availability.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or Bachelors in Business Administration, Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in operations, office management, customer service, or business administration.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of First Aid, CPR, workplace safety, or emergency response training is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and scheduling or customer management software.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Instructor certification is considered an asset but not required.

Pay: $55,129.08-$70,000.00 per year
