Duties
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and menu plans.
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety standards to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene.
- Assist in meal planning by following approved recipes and accommodating special dietary needs when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas to uphold food safety standards.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and properly storing ingredients.
- Serve meals to children in a friendly, efficient manner while promoting positive eating habits.
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures during food preparation and service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service, preferably within a childcare, school, or restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques suitable for young children’s nutritional needs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency during busy meal times.
- Strong organizational skills for managing kitchen supplies and adhering to scheduled meal times.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
