Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst (QA/QC Inspector) to support manufacturing operations, focusing on assembly processes and product quality. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience using measuring tools and a strong understanding of quality control practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on assembled products.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Ensure all critical dimensions and quality standards are met according to manufacturing requirements.
- Identify, document, and report any defects or non-conformances.
- Work closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to maintain product quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality processes.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in QA/QC or inspection within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Hands-on experience with measuring tools and inspection techniques is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications and technical drawings.
- Willingness to travel to Leduc for a 3–4 month training period (Monday to Friday; accommodation, meals, and per diem provided).
- Must be based in or near Calgary, Alberta.
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- A bachelor’s degree is not required; relevant experience is prioritized.
