About You
As our next Billing & Client Support Coordinator, you bring 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, clerical accounting, or accounts receivable, strong Microsoft Office skills, and a willingness to learn tools like TaxPrep and iFirm. You’re a detail-oriented, resourceful problem-solver who takes initiative, manages competing priorities, and finds solutions independently. Your Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the
Manager, Administration, this role plays a key role in driving smooth, efficient workflows across administrative, billing, and client support functions. You will:

Provide hands-on administrative and clerical support to the Administration team, helping to manage priorities, coordinate deliverables, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Support electronic tax filings and financial statement finalization, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and delivered on schedule.

Prepare and customize reports, correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Coordinate client deliverables and documentation, including electronic filings, document management, and archiving, supporting organized and compliant recordkeeping.

Support internal reporting and data tracking, assisting with the preparation and consolidation of information used for operational insights and decision-making.

Serve as a key point of contact for client communications, professionally screening calls and responding to inquiries as appropriate.

Partner with team members and leadership to identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and administrative efficiency.

Contribute to special projects and process improvements that support the firm’s operational excellence and continued growth.
What You Bring

1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, clerical accounting, or accounts receivable within a professional environment; professional services experience is an asset.

Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) with experience in TaxPrep and iFirm being considered a bonus.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to proactively identify errors, problem-solve, and ask thoughtful questions when needed.

Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborative team player who can work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and take on new challenges with confidence.

Availability to work on-site five (5) days per week at McGovern Hurley’s North York office, with overtime during peak periods (February to June) and month-end.
