Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and hospitality standards.
Duties
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering tools
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and food safety standards
- Serve food items promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage cash handling transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
- Assist in setting up tables, cleaning up after service, and restocking supplies as needed
- Engage with guests to create a positive dining experience through excellent customer service
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry service roles preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cashiering tools
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, including knowledge of alcohol laws and regulations
- Hospitality background or related experience is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol
