Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lens Edger/Optician to join our optical team. This role involves precise lens edging, and providing exceptional optical services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of optical products, laboratory procedures, with the ability to deliver personalized service in a fast-paced environment. Prior laboratory work is required.
Duties
- Operate and maintain lens edging equipment to produce high-quality lenses according to prescriptions and specifications
- Measure and verify prescriptions accurately using optical tools and equipments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory area and retail space
- Process orders efficiently while ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Laboratory experience with lens edging or optical fabrication is required
- Previous optical, including familiarity with Epic or similar management systems, is required
- Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $19.63-$21.00 per hour
