Description
The Senior Business Analyst in this role will support Phase 2 of our clients enterprise-wide HCM Modernization Program. This pivotal phase focuses on implementing Dayforce Workforce Management (WFM) and Payroll capabilities, effectively replacing our legacy systems and processes.
As a Senior BA, you will operate independently within a fast-paced, complex transformation environment. You will be embedded into an existing, collaborative BA team, working alongside a Payroll-focused BA and a Dayforce/WFM specialist. Your primary objective will be to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, driving clarity, facilitating critical design discussions, and heavily supporting the project as it transitions from design into Build and System Integration Testing (SIT).
Responsibilities

Process Modeling: Design and document comprehensive future-state business process maps.

Requirements Management: Author clear business and system requirements documentation, ensuring end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Systems & Integration Analysis: Conduct detailed WFM and Payroll process analysis, alongside integration requirements and technical data mapping documentation.

Governance Documentation: Maintain robust logs of business rules, decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Provide hands-on SIT/UAT readiness support, actively participate in SIT execution, manage defect triage, and drive issue resolution.
Workstream Collaboration: Support open design/solution discussions and facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure seamless, ongoing delivery activities.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record operating at a senior level on large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

Enterprise Delivery: Proven experience guiding complex projects through the Build, SIT, and UAT deployment readiness phases.

Process Architecture: Advanced capabilities in business process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state workflow design.

Dual-Perspective Requirements: Demonstrated ability to document detailed requirements from both a non-technical business perspective and a highly technical systems/integration perspective.

Integration Familiarity: Experience working with complex system integrations, data flows, and downstream dependent applications.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to manage relationships and drive clarity between business SMEs, architects, technical teams, and external implementation partners.

Preferred Experience (Nice to Haves)

Hands-on Dayforce implementation or configuration experience.

Deep domain knowledge in Workforce Management (WFM), Time & Attendance, or Payroll transformation.

Familiarity with Benefits Administration workflows.

Experience directly supporting global system implementation partners during high-intensity design and testing phases.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Asset: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Prosci Change Management certification.
